Mission Statement
Established in 2019 as a 501(c)(3) Public Charity, the You Saved Me Foundation has made a significant impact in the San Diego community, reaching out to over 8,000+ families and individuals. Our organization is committed to addressing the immediate needs of our clients while also fostering long-term stability. In the short term, we provide essential resources such as food, clothing, high-quality essentials, Narcan, and pet food, along with rapid career training opportunities.
We understand the urgency of these necessities. However, our focus extends beyond immediate relief. Through our free online Financial Literacy courses and Rapid Career Development & Training programs, we empower residents to build a solid foundation for a sustainable future. We firmly believe that treating every individual with the utmost care, compassion, dignity, and respect is crucial to fulfilling our mission and achieving success. Our commitment knows no boundaries, as we serve all members of the community, regardless of age, gender, sex, sexual orientation, income, immigration status, or political or religious affiliation. By actively engaging and supporting those at risk, living unhoused, low-income, immigrants, individuals with disabilities, low-income families, marginalized minorities, refugees, U.S. veterans, companion animals, and pets, we work towards eradicating blight, hunger, and poverty in historically overlooked and underserved communities.
Together, we strive to expand the middle class, reduce poverty levels, and create a non-discriminatory safe space where volunteering, employment, and immediate assistance are readily available to all.
