You Saved Me Foundation provides US Veterans and military families in San Diego County free baby diapers, food, pet food, feminine hygiene products, clothing, Narcan, Financial Literacy classes, and STEM career development and training. Together these programs help US Veterans and military families rise from poverty and become independent and successful in several ways:
Basic Needs: Meeting basic needs such as food, diapers, and feminine hygiene products can help alleviate financial stress and allow families to focus on other areas of their lives, including finding employment and pursuing education.
Narcan: Providing Narcan can help prevent fatal opioid overdoses, which can be a significant risk for veterans and their families.
Financial Literacy: Financial literacy classes can help veterans and military families learn important skills such as budgeting, saving, and managing debt, which can help them make better financial decisions and increase their financial stability.
Career Development: Offering STEM career development and training can help veterans and military families gain the skills and knowledge needed to pursue high-paying jobs in growing industries, increasing their earning potential and financial stability.
Providing these resources and support at no cost can help veterans and military families overcome financial barriers and achieve long-term success and independence.’
