Emergency Survival Care Kit Backpacks  for Our Neighbors Living Unsheltered

Picture
We give an Emergency Survival Backpack full of living essentials to those living unsheltered or in wooded areas. We are currently are raising funds for a residential campus for the community. In this kit, one can use the Weatherproof tarp & bungee cords to provide shelter from the elements. You can also use extensive hygiene equipment to keep clean and groomed. Use the Emergency Space blanket to keep warm or cold nights, and the LED flashlight to see in the dark of night. Included are also water for when you're thirsty, socks to keep feet dry and warm, PPE masks to stay safe, and a host of other essentials.

These Care Kits are the difference between giving up and persevering until a change has come. Many of our neighbors are living unsheltered in unprecedented numbers. To help ease the burden of the elements and transgressions of living in the outdoors we created an Emergency Backpack Care Kit. Within each Care Kit, is over $250 worth of Clothing, Essential products,Hygiene, PPE, and Survival equipment for anyone living unsheltered in our community completely free of charge.

What’s In the Care Kit?

At You Saved Me Foundation we supply the community with a free Care Kit which includes clothing, Hygiene Equipment, Survival Gear, and vital Resources to help lift the burden and stress one endures living unsheltered or in a car. You can help fulfill orders on behalf of You Saved Me Foundation, by supporting men, women, families, and pets in California, Florida, and Pennsylvania. Thanks to everyone across the country who donated. Your contributions help strengthen the impact of our programs to help reach more people. Please continue to contribute through the Amazon Smile Program and our Emergency Wish List. Each donation is appreciated and needed to complete our mission. Your support means everything to the Staff, the Board, and the many unsheltered and low-income adults, families, and pets we serve who rely on the assistance we provide. Thank you again!

Walk in Our Shoes

We serve the entire community. We do not create any barriers in receiving our help. Many people on the streets are experiencing a mental health crisis. It's important we help and not fear them. When conducting any outreach or distribution, please remain cautious, vigilant, and travel in groups of three or more. Please be safe and responsible when helping anyone. As with anything, there is always a risk. Below is a typical neighborhood outreach distribution of our Care Kits in Downtown San Diego. One of the most saturated groups of unsheltered neighbors in our State and Country. We believe in building trust with our clients, in order to become a bridge for resources and opportunities. This strategy will allow us to help all experiencing poverty and hunger in San Deigo County.
